Reviews and Ratings
I had a pleasant stay at the hotel overall, with a warm welcome and a spacious room. The food at the restaurant was delightful, but the mattress could use improvement for better comfort. The shower took a while to heat up, which was a minor inconvenience. Still, the value for money is decent, and I'd consider returning for work purposes.
I had a fantastic overnight stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. The room was newly refurbished and perfect for our needs. We enjoyed a delicious dinner at the restaurant with cooked-to-perfection rib eye steaks. However, my recent stay brought to light some issues, including a somewhat basic room with limited amenities and inconsistent water temperatures in the shower. Overall, while the ambiance and staff were great, some room fundamentals need improvement.
I had a lovely stay at the hotel, largely thanks to the friendly and welcoming staff who really made me feel at home. The suite I stayed in was spacious with a big bed and a comfortable sofa, perfect for relaxing. However, the bathroom was on the small side and could use some updates. The location was convenient for exploring Durham, Darlington, and Newcastle, which I really appreciated. Overall, it was a good value for money, but the bathroom definitely needs improvement.
I had a delightful stay at this hotel, which feels like it's more than just a three-star establishment. The breakfast options were fantastic, and the rooms were well-presented and incredibly comfortable. The staff was consistently engaging and went out of their way to enhance the overall experience. However, while dining was generally good, I noticed a few items were served cold at times, which could be improved. Overall, this hotel offers excellent value for money and is a great base for exploring the surrounding areas.
I had an amazing stay at this brilliantly refurbished hotel. The atmosphere was vibrant, and the food was outstanding, both at breakfast and dinner. The staff were attentive and made the experience even more enjoyable. The only downside was that while the hotel is a pleasant walk to the town center, it might not be ideal for those looking to be closer to downtown attractions.
